Hello! My name is Amos and I am currently a senior at SFU majoring in Software Systems, a program within the School of Computing Science.

My passion lies in developing software that will have a positive impact on our society and world. I have experience in full-stack web development using React.js and Node.js, as well as back-development and databases with Java and SQL.

Full Stack Developer Co-op (May 2022 - August 2022)

• Developed a framework for the creation and execution of automated pipelines that processes medical images and patient data using Vue.js and Python.

• Implemented an advanced parameter input feature to allow researchers and physicians to construct digital twins within our application so they can formulate suitable and effective cancer treatments for patients

• Utilized behaviour-driven development techniques to develop automated test suites using Selenium and Cucumber, increasing code coverage by 100%.

Software Developer Co-op (January 2021 - August 2021)

• Designed and implemented an appointment booking and management system for a large-scale patient health portal using HTML and JavaScript, resulting in a greatly improved user experience and flow

• Developed an intelligent and dynamic resource recommendation library that suggests various helpful resources to users based on their health profile, providing support and guidance to those who need it

• Demonstrated new features and recent development efforts of our team by giving technical demos to the client, boosting stakeholder relationship and engagement

Wrote extensive unit and integration tests to increase total code coverage from 70% to over 90%
